Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi reportedly sustained an injury after a fall on stairs during a visit to Luxembourg as part of a congressional trip marking the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge. Her office confirmed the incident but provided no further details.

Pelosi expressed gratitude to medical teams at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany and Hospital Kirchberg in Luxembourg for their care. It is unclear when she will return to the U.S. following treatment.

Although she stepped down from leadership in 2023, Pelosi, 84, remains a key Democratic figure. Recent losses, including Vice President Kamala Harris’s defeat to Donald Trump, have raised questions about her continued influence in the party.
