Top Republican Endorses Dan Bongino For Secret Service Director
Florida Republican Rep. Anna Paulina Luna endorsed conservative host and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino to lead the Secret Service, tweeting, “You should be the secret service director.” Bongino, a Trump ally, has been critical of the agency following assassination attempts on Trump, calling them “catastrophic failures.”
House Judiciary Chair Jim Jordan also voiced support for Bongino, praising his leadership potential. Reports suggest Trump is considering Bongino for the role, alongside Sean Curran.
Bongino has also criticized internal Republican sabotage, accusing figures like Kellyanne Conway of undermining Trump’s campaign and VP pick J.D. Vance over policy disagreements on Ukraine. Bongino called the Trump-Vance ticket “great” and urged party unity.
