The dog’s former owner, Giovanny Garcia, admitted he left the dog behind because he couldn’t find anyone to care for it.

President Biden, in contrast, praised DeSantis for his handling of Hurricane Milton, commending his efforts and cooperation with federal agencies. Biden stated that DeSantis had been fully cooperative and had received the necessary support for the storm response.
